The Sunday Photo Group

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

On Sunday March 21st ‘The Sunday Photo Group’ of Greater Ossining and the tri-county area, now in existence for over 21 years will be meeting at 1:30 p.m. at All Saints Church on Scarborough Road and Old Bedford Road. Their guest presenters will be Elinor Stecker-Orel and her husband Mano Orel. The two of them are amazing, sensitive and creative artists who with their unique visions and mastery of traditional and digital techniques will share a selection of their favorite images with a discussion of both the aesthetic why and the technical how they realize their work. They have both won numerous awards; Mano is currently the president of the Westchester Photographic Society and Elinor recently had a flower portfolio of hers selected in a national competition to be featured in the new photographic magazine ‘Color‘. After their presentation and the general meeting of the Sunday Photo Group instead of the usual tea and snacks we will adjourn to the Ossining Public Library to see Elinor’s work which is part of a 3 women show at the OPL gallery. There will be coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pastries and sandwiches at the Library Cafe (their usual fare). All are invited to this very special program! For more information call Mark Sadan at 762-0219.
