Supporting OAC Online
The Ossining Arts Council continues to grow its digital presence through videos, artist interviews, event highlights, social media posts, and special programs like The Art Exchange. These online spaces help us share the work, voices, and stories of OAC artists with a wider audience — not just in Ossining, but beyond.
Across the first four episodes of The Art Exchange, OAC has received more than 200 views. That is an encouraging start, and we are grateful to everyone who has watched, shared, or supported the series.
But views and subscriptions are not the same.
A view means someone watched a video. A subscription means someone has chosen to stay connected to the channel and is more likely to see future OAC videos when they are posted. Subscriptions also help YouTube understand that people are interested in our content, which can make it easier for new viewers to discover OAC videos over time.
Subscribing is free, and it only takes a moment.
How to Subscribe to OAC on YouTube
Visit the Ossining Arts Council YouTube channel.
Make sure you are signed into YouTube or a Google account.
Click the Subscribe button on the channel page or below any OAC video.
Optional: click the bell icon if you would like notifications when new videos are posted.
Once you subscribe, you do not have to do anything else. You will still be able to watch videos as usual, but you will also be helping OAC build its audience and expand the reach of our artists and programs.
The Art Exchange: A Special Episode Is Coming
We’re also excited to share that a special episode of The Art Exchange is coming soon, featuring artists from the OAC Annual Member Show.
This special episode will offer a closer look at selected member artwork through short artist conversations. Some artists will respond to questions specific to their work, while others will share reflections in their own words. Together, these moments create a dynamic look at the range of voices, styles, and perspectives within our member community.
Subscribing to the OAC YouTube channel is the easiest way to make sure you don’t miss it when it premieres.

Why It Matters
OAC’s online presence is an extension of our creative community. Through video, social media, newsletters, and the website, we can preserve artist conversations, share event moments, highlight member work, and introduce new audiences to the creativity happening here.
Programs like The Art Exchange give artists another way to speak about their work, process, and ideas. Social media helps us share those moments more widely. Together, these platforms allow OAC to stay connected with members and reach people who may not yet know what our arts community has to offer.
Whether you attend events in person, read The Palette, follow us on social media, or subscribe to our YouTube channel, each action helps strengthen the creative life of our community.
If you have not subscribed or followed yet, we invite you to connect with OAC online.
It is free, simple, and a meaningful way to help OAC share the work of our creative community.
