The 2023 Living Art Event

The Ossining Arts Council (OAC) and Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) will present The 2023 Living Art Event (LAE), a theater-in-the-round event showcasing OAC artworks and six original WCT one-act plays inspired by selected works, weekends from May 12 -21 at the WCT black box performance space in downtown Ossining.

OAC member docents will take the audience through a special gallery tour created within the black box performance space of WCT. As docents pause intermittently, the artworks will spring to life in the form of plays written by local playwrights. Actors were selected from WCT members. The artworks were originally on exhibit at the Ossining Public Library in June of 2022.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm plus matinees on Saturdays at 2 pm and Sundays at 3 pm. A talk-back is scheduled for Sunday, May 14 following the performance. WCT is located at 23 Water St., Ossining, NY.

General admission tickets to LAE are $25; $20 for seniors/students. Discounted tickets are also available for OAC/WCT members. Advance online purchase is strongly recommended: https://wct-oac-present-living-art-event.eventbrite.com
