We are thrilled to launch the inaugural Text as Art exhibition, a unique event open to all professional, amateur, and student visual artists who are current Ossining Arts Council members. Join or renew here! Artwork will creatively incorporate text as a fundamental element. This can include book pages, handwritten notes, maps, or any form of written language used visually. Whether entirely, sparsely, or just a word is totally up to the artist. Each member may submit one piece that has not been previously shown in any OAC-sponsored exhibition.

KEY DATES

• MEMBERSHIP FEE and ONLINE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: October 24, 2024, 11:59 PM.

• PHYSICAL WORK DROP-OFF: Thursday, November 7, 2024, 4-6 PM and Friday, November 8, 2024, 4-7 PM
  All work must have the title, price, artist name, and contact email and phone number on the back (2D artwork) or the bottom (3D artwork).

• EXHIBITION OPENS: Saturday, November 9, 2024

• RECEPTION: Sunday, November 10, 2024, 4-6 PM

• EXHIBITION CLOSE: Sunday, November 17, 2024

• ARTWORK PICK-UP: Sunday, November 17, 2024, 1-4 PM
