We believe that art is essential.
We are a group of volunteers whose mission is to promote and showcase the talents of all Ossining, Westchester, and Hudson Valley artists, whether professional or amateur.
The OAC is a unifying organization that brings together a diverse set of artists and celebrates other arts-based organizations through collaborative programs. We work to build awareness and inspire passion for the arts throughout our community.
In adopting this mission, we hope to demonstrate that art is an important, vital and affirming force — both in the life of a community and in the life of each individual it touches.
What We Do
We're here to encourage participation in, and love of the arts, in all their forms.
We help our artist members promote their work through various channels, including OAC-hosted events, use of our gallery space in the Steamer Firehouse, and a dedicated artist profile and showcase through our member directory.
In addition, our member artists become part of a thriving artistic community here in Ossining. We offer a social and creative hub, where like-minded people can meet, share ideas, and foster new connections, projects and collaborations.

We meet on Zoom the second Wednesday each month to plan upcoming OAC activities, including member art exhibitions, fundraisers, and arts-based community events. We share information, and once quarterly we meet in person for demonstrations, hands-on projects, and talks about a variety of topics. You are welcome to attend a meeting before you join.
