Sharon Rubinstein

I specialize in portraiture, but enjoy many artistic subjects and media. 

I love to share the joys of creativity. I’ve offered workshops in diverse venues, among them: my home studio, the Mohegan Lake Colony, the Cedar Lane Art Center, the Morabito Center in Cortlandt Manor, and the Garrison Art Center.

My art education includes BFA studies and workshops with notable artists, including master pastellist Daniel Greene, Alain Picard, and ARC life master Robert Liberace. I believe in life-long learning, and continue to keep my own knowledge fresh while teaching others. 

My work has appeared in one-woman or group shows across Westchester and Rockland County, and in a one-woman show in Annapolis, Maryland.  I was honored to be among creative types selected for a joint project, The Arc of the Viral Universe,  organized by Carla Rae Johnson in 2021. 

I am available for commissions (especially oil or pastel portraits) and classes.
