Rosemary Hocking-Sanzari
After retiring in 2017 from a 45+ year career in housing development, Rosemary began to study art: traditional, landscape, and Asian brush painting, portrait and life drawing, charcoal, and watercolor. Scenic Hudson Valley landscapes and iconic Asian images after the styles of contemporary artists and ancient masters are her frequent subjects. She joined the Ossining Arts Council in 2019 and the Asian Brush Artist Guild in 2022, and has exhibited at the Ossining and Mahopac Libraries, Westchester Collaborative Theater, Bethany Arts Community, Hammond Museum, ArtsWestchester, and Beacon Howland Cultural Center, with solo shows at Teatown Lake Reservation and Greenburgh Townhall.
